So, I hitched a ride with my friend because her 1st class is at 8 & mine started at 9, & I figured that waiting an hour wouldn't be too bad.
What I didn't figure into the equation was that we needed to be up prior to SIX IN THE MORNING, and this after having stayed up watching half of
Boondock Saints (which is an awesome movie, by the way) until around ONE IN THE MORNING.
Anyways.
Up before six, leave at seven, takes an hour to get there, wait an exruciatingly slow hour until class starts, drag myself into class, and sit down with the rest of my sleep-lacking classmates. Then the prof walks in, and she says, "So, I guess none of you got my email? You guys don't have class until next week."
...
I was so angry that all I could do was stare at her for a few moments.
Now I'm normally a very peaceful person, but I tend to get more irratable with less sleep. The only thing that kept me from doing anything questionable at that moment was the fact that I was way too tired. So I plodded away to wait ANOTHER HOUR until my next class.
This is where my day picks up, thankfully.
I basically love my History class, and Sociology seems like it should be interesting (and by that I mean the prof is hilarious) so I ended the day on a happy note.
In other news.
Ok, so I've been hearing "A dingo ate my baby!" quite a bit recently, and while I find the quote hilarious, no one I asked knew where it came from.
So, being the curious creature that I am, I looked it up on google.
And it's a quote by Meryl Streep in the movie
A Cry in the Dark, apparently after a dingo ran off with her baby (duh).
I hope I wasn't the only one that was bothering?
